How to you hold on to a moment,
When the moment slips us by?
How do you catch the wind,
When it run it’s carass through your hair?
Can you turn back the hands of time,
To recapture the light of innocence?
Is it possible to cast aside reality
And believe again,
In imagination,
In dreams,
And in love.
Teach me how to immortalise,
That which has come to pass.
So that I may savour again
Even for a moment,
The sweetness of purity.
And cage and ever dimming light.
